Nokia XL is a low budget android smartphone from nokia. But it comes with 5 inches of huge IPS LCD Display with a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (187 ppi). It is almost same as Nokia X+ but has a bigger display and bigger battery. It made its entrance along with Nokia X and Nokia X+ at Mobile World Congress 2014 held in Barcelona this February. All of the three phones are same in respect of design and are similar to Nokia Lumia 520.
The device is powered by Dual Core Processor clocked at 1 GHz along with 768 MB of RAM. Camera on the device is 5 Megapixels with a video recording capability of 480p at 30fps. Sensor size of the camera is 1/4". There is LED flash with the camera for low light conditions. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean version but is layered by Nokia's new X User Interface. Nokia X UI is somewhat similar to the Windows versions which provides a mixed user experience. It is like a windows phone but it can run android apps as well.
The device comes preloaded with Microsoft OneCloud, Nokia HERE Maps and Skype. Additional apps can be downloaded from Nokia Store. Though it runs on Google's Android Jelly bean it does not have Google Play store for Android apps. If the user wish to run android apps then there is an option to download apps from outside and run it on the phone.
Nokia XL comes with 4 GB of internal storage and is expandable upto 32 GB via SD card. As it is a Dual Sim Smartphone it has two slots for Micro Sim card.
