Review :
Galaxy S 5 is the most powerful and advanced smartphone from Samsung. It has significant improvements from its last predecessor phone. It features a 5.1 inches of Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by a Quad Core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with 2 GB of RAM. There might be an Octa Core version available too for a few markets.

As there were already rumors about finger print scanning technology. It features a finger print scanner in the home button for advanced security features. Phone can unlocked by the swipe of the user's finger on the home button. Finger print scanning can also be used for a number of online secure transactions.

Camera on the Galaxy S 5 is 16 Megapixels with the ability to record videos at 4K 2160p resolution. Samsung has adopted the water proof technology, previously found on Sony's Xperia line, for Galaxy S 5 to remain in the competition of the market. The device is sealed with rubber packing and rubber flaps allowing you to shoot photos and videos underwater. Its IP rating is IP67. This means that you can shoot 4K resolution videos under water and watch them later on your Ultra-HD TV in Crystal clear quality.

Though the device is water resistant its battery is user removable. Battery on Galaxy S 5 is just 2800mAh but can last very long as the phone has an 'ultra power saving mode'. This power saving can allow the phone to last for a whole day long even if there is 10% battery remaining as the Samsung claims. It also features an inbuilt heart rate monitor so that user can track record of his health with this device. It runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat version and an upgraded version of Touch Wiz UI.
Along with the Galaxy S 5 Samsung has also introduced Gear 2 and Gear fit. The device is expected to start shipping into the markets from this march and will be available to buy globally.
