Review:
LG G2 Mini is a smaller version of LG G2. It comes with the features of LG G2 but in a small package. Specially for the people who do not like their phone to be as big as their hands.
It comes with a 4.7 inches of QHD IPS Plus Display. Display resolution is 560 x 960 pixels. There are three versions of this device. Out of these, 2 versions are powered by a Quadcore CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz with 8 megapixels of camera one being LTE supported while the other is only 3G version. The third version specially offered for latin america is powered by a Quadcore CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz with 13 megapixels of camera and an Nvidia Tegra 4i chipset with GeForce GPU. The 3G supported version also have an optional dual sim variant.
Other than these it has the same unlock pattern and the Knock On feature of LG G2. There is no home button in front. On the back it has the physical keys i.e. The Rear Key and the volume buttons. The rear key is helpful while taking self shots and also launches quick memo if you want to capture the screenshot of current screen and scribble on it then share on social networks.
There is a feature known as Slide Aside which makes multitasking on the phone easier than ever. With slide aside you can directly reach to homescreen by sliding three fingers from right to left of the screen. And when you want to recall the recently opened apps just slide your three fingers from left to right and it will bring 3 recently opened apps.
There is also a feature called QSlide which is accessible through notification bar. It allows you to open a selected apps of the phone like a floating widget say if you want to make a call or write a message you can use QSlide to open the desired mini app of it and make a call. There can be more than one floating app running on screen. And they can also be kept as icon around the edges of the screen for quick access.
The phone is expected to be shipping in to stores from this March in Russia first then followed by the other countries in April.
Colour option includes Black, White, Red, Champagne & Gold.
